Graphic Designer

We’re seeking a talented, multi-faceted graphic designer who is enthusiastic about working in the fashion and retail industry. You will assist in the creation of marketing and collateral materials, product design, catalogs, website design, and much more. As a member of the creative team, you must be ready and willing to take on a wide variety of projects and back up other team members, as needed. This position will report to the CEO.  This is a paid by the job position.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the design team in the conceptualization and creation of designs for new products, including t-shirts, patterns, tags, labels, etc.

  • Conceptualize and create materials for retail locations, including banners, window graphics, display furniture, etc.

  • Manage and coordinate all design requests from internal and external sources

  • Ensure appropriate level of style & fashion is infused in all creative work consistent with the brand & target audience

  • Conceptualize and create materials for market, retail events, and special events including banners, posters, catalogs, cups, etc.

  • Create billboards and magazine ads

  • Assist The WoKE Team in the creation of marketing e-mail content

  • Assist The WoKE Team in the creation of content for the website or social media

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Prefer 2 years of experience creating a high-level design for print and web

  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Must perform well under pressure

  • Must be an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign

  • Must possess strong typography skills and knowledge of contemporary design

  • Must have a keen eye for color

  • Must have a strong sense of fashion and/or apparel industries

  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience with file formatting for print and web

Work-From-Home Requirements:

  • Dedicated, private home workspace free of distractions and interruptions

  • Established home internet connectivity; minimum internet download speed of 15 Mbps | upload speed of 10 Mbps

  • Understand your network environment at home

  • Ability to troubleshoot their own devices & connectivity

  • Working from home is determined by the job
